Konek innovates and unveils the very first ” Smart Hotel as a Service” (or “SHaaS”) offer: a technological and interactive subscription platform specially designed to simplify the life of hoteliers and improve the experience of their customers. Konek is a new Quebec startup in full expansion in the field of telecommunications specializing in the hotel industry.
You are always on the lookout for new technologies and you would like to pursue a career in a booming field, you have come to the right place. We are looking for a Linux System Administrator and Customer Support.
Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Linux system administrator and customer support – level 2 technician at Konek.ai, you will have the opportunity to support the Konek product which consists of supporting Linux routers, Asterisk PBX installations, Unifi equipment, routing advanced with redundancy and IPTV streaming in real time. All 100% in open source technologies.
Do you like to offer good service and be proactive in automating systems? Do you enjoy challenges such as deploying updates to multiple clients at the same time? Do you love working from the command line on routers or Linux servers? SSH no longer has any secrets for you? Do you like solving VoIP, IPTV technical problems and satisfying customers? Whether it’s to solve a problem or to support a 200-room hotel, customers are waiting for you!
You will help support a cutting-edge technology platform that is revolutionizing the hospitality industry.

- You have a good level of English.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year (depending on your experience)
